While there is always much happening at the Community Art Center, the holidays bring an extra helping of fun!

On Saturday, December 1st from 10am - noon, bring the whole family out for our Tree Trimming Workshop. Create an entire tree's worth of unique, hand crafted ornaments sure to create years of memories. Program fee is $15 per family and pre-registration is required as space is limited. Our ever popular, Girls Morning Out with the Nutcracker is being held on Saturday, December 8th from 10am - noon. This fun-filled morning features Nutcracker inspired crafts, watching excerpts from the popular ballet, tasting holiday treats, and finally, dancing together! Program fee is $15 per child and pre-registration is required as space is limited. Registration form can be downloaded here.

If you are searching for unique, handcrafted gifts, stop by Drosselmeyer's Workshop being held during the first week of December. And most exciting of all is the premier of The Norristown Nutcracker! Join us on Friday, December 21st at 7pm for this local production featuring the work of our dedicated dance, music, and art students in our creative retelling of this popular holiday ballet.  Our production will feature Clara, her Nutcracker prince, and the spectacular adventures they embark on during her imaginative holiday dream.  Beautiful costumes, hand-painted scenery, live music performances, and endless dance entertainment are all a part of this fantastic show!
