Shortly before 11 a.m. on Friday, a four vehicle accident occurred at Germantown Pike and Whitehall Rd. 

One vehicle stopped in the grass in front of the East Norriton Fire Department. All four vehicles were towed from the scene.

One driver was evacuted from the scene by medical helicopter and one was taken by ambulance. East Norriton Township Police Patrol Sgt. Walters told Patch he did not know the condition of the victims or which hospitals they were taken to.

The accident is still under investigation.
