Car Fire Shuts Down Ridge Pike on Sunday
Police and firefighters were on the scene at Main and Gay streets in Norristown and westbound Ridge Pike was closed at Conshohocken Road.
Police and firefighters responded Main and Gay streets at approximately 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, for a report of a vehicle fire.
Few details are available currently, but the fire has been brought under control. Westbound Ridge Pike remains closed at Conshohocken Road while crews work to clean up the scene. Eastbound Ridge Pike remains open, but drivers should expect delays.
