Council Meets Tonight to Discuss Proposed Developments

Tonight's agenda is heavy on development, with the continuation of a public hearing on the senior-living development proposed for Kennedy-Kenrick and discussions on three additional proposed projects.

Norristown Municipal Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Norristown Municipal Hall, 235 E. Airy Street and development dominates the agenda tonight.

In addition to a continuation on the public hearing for proposed zoning changes to the former Kennedy-Kenrick High School site requested by Pottstown-based developer Hallman Retirement Neighborhoods, Council will discuss additional development projects proposed for 1202 DeKalb Street, 410 E. Johnson Highway and 900 Sandy Street. They'll also revisit the Keystone Opportunity Zone proposed for East Washington Street

You can download the full agenda for tonight's meeting in our PDF section. Unfortunately, we won't be able to offer a live stream of tonight's meeting, but we'll be up and running again for Octobers' meetings
