According to PennDOT, local commuters can expect daytime lane closures on both sides of the Dannehower Bridge that connects Norristown and Upper Merion this week. Crews will be working Tuesday, June 5 through Thursday, June 7 to clean the bridge.

The work schedule for the week is as follows:

• Tuesday, June 5: The right southbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, June 6: The right lane will be closed on both the north- and southbound sides from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Thursday, June 7: The right northbound lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Commuters who regularly use the bridge should plan to allow for extra time or use an alternate route.
