Khalif Wyatt Arrested in AC Prostitution Sting
The Temple basketball star and Norristown native allegedly solicited an undercover cop.
According to several media outlets, Khalif Wyatt, Norristown native and Temple University Owls' star guard, was arrested in Atlantic City shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday morning, June 10, after police say he solicited an undercover officer engaged in a prostition sting and then tried to flee the scene. Wyatt is reportedly being charged with engaging in prostitution and resisting arrest.
The sting was a two-day operation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Innocence Lost Task Force, the Absecon Police Department and the Atlantic County Sherriff's Department. Wyatt was one of 28 people busted in the sting operation.
According to Philly.com, former Kennedy-Kenrick High School athlete Duane Alford Jr. was also arrested that morning and faces similar charges.
"We have just become aware of the charges and are still gathering information at this point," Temple Senior Associate Athletic Director Larry Dougherty told Comcast Sportsnet in a release.
According to NBC10 News, Wyatt was in Atlantic City celebrating his 21st birthday.

Agreed but regardless it's all over the place so taking it off here means little. Dumb mistake but a victimless crime. I highly doubt it will happen again.
