Local Group Spends Their Christmas Morning Giving to Others
Mike Scott and his family spent their Christmas morning delivery toys and Christmas cheer to families in Norristown.
While many of us spent our Christmas morning exchanging presents with family and friends and reveling in the season, Mike Scott and his family mobilized as part of his Help a Single Parent for Christmas Foundation.
Scott and crew loaded up a firetruck donated for the day by the Norristown Fire Department with toys and food for several families in need in Norristown. Funds for the effort were raised at an event held at the Peanut Gallery Tavern.
Loaded for bear, the volunteers delivered their goods with fanfare complete with sirens and lights.
See the video above to hear Scott talk about the effort.
