'Never Forget Norristown'

The words of Ernest "Tre" Hadrick's father brought him back to his hometown to create the Norristown Men of Excellence program.

Philly.com profiled one of our community's hometown heroes today. Ernest "Tre" Hadrick, former college football star and now guidance counselor at Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy, founded the Norristown Men of Excellence (NMOE) last year to "harness the talents and expertise of the student athletes" in effort to make life in Norristown better for everyone.

Hadrick's group mentors and organizes activities for young people and are on call for family's in need. They're goal is to do more for Norristown – that's "M.O.R.E." as in, "Motivating Our community to Reach Excellence."
