Norristown Woman Sentenced for Robbing Elderly Neighbor With Can of Hairspray
The woman reportedly sprayed him in the face and forced her way into his apartment.
According to The Times Herald, 44-year-old Karen Mary Taylor, of Norristown, was sentenced to 9 to 23 months in prison on Wednesday, Jan. 16, after pleading guilty to robbing her elderly neighbor.
Taylor reportedly knocked on the man's door on April 13, 2012 and, when he answered the door, sprayed him in the face with hairspray to incapacitate him. She then reportedly forced her way into his apartment, grabbed him by the throat and stole $400.
According to the Herald, Taylor was also ordered to repay her neighbor.
