Patch Poll: Best Barber Shop in Norristown
WIth so many great shops in town, this one is going to be tight.
Do you know how many barber shops we have in town? Plenty. We've got a lot of style. But who does it best?
This isn't just about the cut. The barber shop has always been the unoffical town square, where regular guys can hang out and shoot the breeze, debate the issues and smack talk until their hearts content. So when you think about which shop in town gives you all that and a great line, who comes to mind? Is it Ken-Do's, Bono's, Culbreath's, or maybe Hair Zone? Or do you have a hidden gem the rest of us don't know about?
Vote for your favorite shop in our poll below by 9 a.m. Friday. We'll present the winner with a certificate proclaiming their superiority. If there's a tie, we'll use positive comments in our comment section to break it, so be sure to tell us why you love your favorite spot so.
Oh, and if we missed one, let us know in the comments and we'll add it to the poll. If you want to vote for a shop in a neighboring Patch, feel free to visit Perkiomen Valley Patch, Lower Gwynedd-Ambler-Whitpain Patch or Montgomeryville-Lansdale Patch.

Yeah...that "Coming to America" clip is right on time and too funny! What makes it so great is you can take Eddie Murphy out of the scene and cut in "any" barber shop. Norristown like any working town is alive with conversation about politics, personalities and opinions...at the barbershop these topics and more are center stage.
So many professional barbers in town and a tough choice too. Personally...Pierre and the crew at Hairzone have a very diverse and courteous crew who keep it real, keep it customers first and keep a nice shop.. Kendo's , Culbreath's and everyone on the list are friends or customers who run great shops and they all deserve to be recognized for representing solid businesses and community service here in Norristown.

I've been going to Bono's since I was a kid. Bill is an old school barber. Every haircut ends with hot lather and a straight razor. He also does a great job of cleaning up my beard.
