Police Searching for 7-Eleven Bandit

Two area 7-Elevens were robbed within 24 hours by what police believe is the same suspect.

According to The Times Herald, the Norristown and West Norriton police departments are searching for information on the robberies of two area 7-Elevens in the last two days.

According to reports, at around 3 a.m. Monday, March 12, the at 1501 West Main Street in West Norriton was held up by a masked gunman. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt, a black knit hat, black sneakers and black gloves. The robber also covered his face with a blue bandanna.

Nearly 24 hours later, on Tuesday, March 13, the at 708 East Johnson Highway in Norristown was held up by what police suspect is the same man.
