Norristown Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Green St. just after midnight for a report of a shooting.

One unidentified male victim was reportedly shot several times in the stomach and flown by PennSTAR to the Hospital of the University of Philadelphia Trauma Center for treatment. Emergency responders on the scene described him as being in stable condition according to the Breaking News Network.

Police remain on scene and are searching for evidence and information about the incident.
