Norristown's Bicentennial Kick-Off Party gathered a hearty group of revelers and supporters who braved the cold and the rain to ring in the start of the year-long celebration on Saturday at Elmwood Park.

Norristown Municipal Council members were joined by sponsors like Dominic Conicelli and Sean Cullen, Montgomery County Commissioners Josh Shapiro, Leslie Richards and Bruce Castor, Judge William Nicholas and Norristown Ambassador Hank Cisco along with others in welcoming the crowd and officially starting the bicentennial calendar of events.
