Wanted Person Apprehended by Police in West Norriton
The unidentified subject reportedly ran into an apartment in the neighborhood to escape police, but surrendered a short time after.
Patch readers reported heavy police activity in the area of Centre Ave. and West Marshall Street in West Norriton Friday evening at approximately 6:30 p.m. The event may be connected to an earlier incident reported minutes prior in Norristown, but authorities have yet to confirm that connection.
Police say that a wanted person being sought by them ran into an apartment in the 100 block of Centre Avenue to evade them, but the still unidentified subject surrendered to police shortly after.
Shortly before the reports of the incident in West Norriton, a reader reported shots fired in the area of Corson and Oak Streets in Norristown. An unofficial source reported that the two incidents may be connected, but police have not yet confirmed that information.
The Montgomery County Department of Public Safety's live incident feed indicated no EMS call related to either incident.

OMG, it's completely possible that the two incidents are not connected. The police have yet to provide any additional info and their last word to me was they couldn't confirm a connection between them.
That said, the source in question had other information that checked out so it's I felt it was reasonable enough to mention their might be a connection. Reporting breaking news as it happens can be a bit dodgy sometimes, but I try to err on the side of giving people reliable information. I'm hoping to find out more tomorrow.

it's norristown you would have to think the 2 incidents are related until told other wise the place is a shit hole and if west norriton was smart they would put the national guard on there border at forrest ave and shoot everyone that is running or wearing a hoodie
