Wednesday Night Shooting at DeKalb & Elm Streets

A 21-year-old male reportedly suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach.

 

Norristown Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the area of DeKalb and Elm streets shortly before midnight on Wednesday, Nov. 21 for a report of a shooting.

According to the Breaking News Network, an unidentified 21-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach in the incident and was flown by medevac to an area hospital for treatment. The victim's condition is unknown at this time.

Detectives were unavailable for comment, but police reportedly do not have a suspect in custody at this time.

@delena williams...last I checked MOST of Norristown is heavily populated with crime...in what one location do you expect the police to sit? I'm pretty sure your tax dollars are not enough to afford extra police presence in specific areas of town, because then every resident/tax payer is gonna want the police on their block claiming their block is also heavily populated with crime...ijs

I'm surprised camera's wasn't installed outside the newly renovated apartments they built. I figure a nice setup like that would have them for the tenants safety.
