Hi, Matt from the Isotopes here. Hope everyone is having a good New Year so far.

I'm sure you know our former pitcher. Alan didn't play for us this year or most of the last because he was suffering from end stage liver and liver cancer. On Xmas day, he finally got the news that a donor was found and he under went Liver transplant. Even with Medical Insurance, the cost is staggering and starting to overwhelm his wife.

I also wanted to see if we can do something as a league since Alan has been a part of it for longer then I can remember. His wife has started a website and the link is below:
