Heroes Day - May 20, 2012- Rain or Shine

The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove invite you to a special day of honor - Heroes Day, May 20th at the MoH Grove located on the campus of the Freedoms Foundation of Valley Forge, 1601 Valley Forge Road, Phoenixville, Pa.

The names of 35 Medal of Honor recipients', from the War on Terror, Vietnam and Korea will be installed into the Grove.

Also celebrate the Friends of the Grove's completion of the 1st major improvement in the Grove- the repavement of the entrance of the Grove. Come walk through the Grove and honor our heroes.

The Heroes Day event schedule is:

1200n-130p Music by All Together Charlie


200p- 300p  Program with special guests-Families of several posthumous Medal of Honor Recipients from Vietnam and the War on Terror, Medal of Honor           
Recipients and their families with Special Words provided by Pennsylvania Lieutenant Governor James Cawley and others.


330p- 500p Music by Olde City Band

Lunch is available for purchase- $12.00 for adults and $9.00 for children. Bring your folding chairs, blankets and sunscreen.
