In honor of Norristown's Bicentennial celebration, the Gospel, Jazz and Blues Festival, a tribute to Thomas A. Dorsey, the "father of gospel music, "will be held June 23, from noon til dusk, at Elmwood Park.

More About Elmwood Park
Elmwood Park is located on Harding Boulevard in Norristown. It is located next to the Elmwood Zoo however, there is no admission price to enter the Park. Elmwood Park has playgrounds, a bandshell area and five ball fields, three of which have lights for night games. Picnic-friendly, Elmwood Park has three shaded pavilions with built-in fireplaces.
