Carrying on a Pennsylvania German tradition of dyeing eggs with wild berries, bark, nuts, roots, and grasses, we are going to follow their example by using natural materials to dye eggs rather than commercial tablets. Bring at least a dozen hard-boiled eggs. The colors that result from natural dyeing are not always predictable, but the element of surprise will add to the fun. Ages: adults and children ages 7 and up. Pre-registration is required. Meet at the park office.
