Yoga For Vets – Men
Montgomery County Community College and the Montgomery County Veterans Center are offering free yoga programs for veterans this fall.
For male veterans, classes will be held Fridays, Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, 9 and 16, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in room 203 of the Physical Education Center at the College’s Central Campus, 340 DeKalb Pike, Blue Bell. Convenient parking is available at the Cathcart Road entrance.
No prior yoga experience is required. Studies have shown that yoga has several health benefits, including improved sleep, better management of stress and anxiety, improved focus and increased fitness.
Veterans are welcome to come to one or all classes, whenever they are available. Participants must sign-up in advance by emailing Sara Erlbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org or Deb Greenspan at email@example.com. Documentation of military service is required.
