Focus on Healthy Behaviors at SAAC

A new program designed to focus on healthy behaviors, will be offered at selected Montgomery County Senior Centers beginning in March. Take Charge will encourage participants to improve their quality of life by developing healthy behaviors that help prevent or slow the development or progression of chronic diseases.

Take Charge will address healthier eating habits, the importance of exercise, stress reduction and the benefits of better sleep habits, all while encouraging social support in and out of the classes.

Friday, March 7, 2014 at 12:15 p.m. will be the kick off for the Montco SAAC, Norristown program. Classes will continue Fridays at 12:15 through June 13, 2014. Sign up, bring a friend and recharge your battery! For more information and to make reservations call 610-275-1960.
