International Student Exchange Program: Host Families Wanted

Hello everyone! My name is Jonathan Harrington and I work for an organization called Youth for Understanding. We are a non-profit high school youth exchange program that works with students from over 60 different countries. Currently, we have students in the area still in need of host families, and are looking for families who would like to get involved in our cause. Here are two of many students waiting to welcome you into their lives.

First, Shutaro is a 17 year-old boy from Japan who loves to play soccer, music, and reading. During his time here, he hopes to read some of the books he has read in Japanese in English, such as Harry Potter, and maybe even some History books, seeing as history is his favorite subject. One day, he would like to use his knowledge of history for a good cause as an international diplomat.

Second is Michelle, a 16 year-old from Norway who loves dancing, running, and fashion. Michelle also likes to travel with her family, especially in the mountains where she enjoys hiking and cross-country skiing. As an only child, she is very close with her parents, and even works alongside her father at their family-owned and run business. One of her dreams for the future is to travel around the world, having as many experiences as possible!
