Ushers Wanted for Theatre Horizon's production of Circle Mirror Transformation

Want to see a great play for FREE? Usher at Theatre Horizon!

A non-profit like Theatre Horizon runs with a small staff, an active Board of Directors, a few volunteer committees, and then our volunteers (YOU!).  It takes a lot of effort from all parties to ensure that Theatre Horizon continues to grow and serve its community to the best of its ability. We are always looking for new volunteers to join our family; especially as ushers.

  • Our next show is Annie Baker's Circle Mirror Transformation, directed by resident director Matthew Decker and running from February 20th - March 16th, 2014. When four lost New Englanders who enroll in Marty's six-week-long community-center drama class begin to experiment with harmless games, hearts are quietly torn apart, and tiny wars of epic proportions are waged and won. A beautifully crafted diorama in which we see, with hilarious detail and clarity, regular people undergoing titanic transformations.
  • The show is 90 minutes long and has no intermission, so your help would only be needed before the show begins.
Talent Needed: good people skills, excellent customer service attitude, attention to detail, ability to focus on a given task, being on time.

Ushers must arrive 1 hour prior to show time to help out and may see the show for free after their tasks are completed.

Ushering duties include any of the following:
