There is at least one vehicular incident in Norristown on Thursday, in the midst of snowy streets, with one vehicle appearing to have crashed into a pole, according to a passerby who took photos and submitted them to Patch, with the incident confirmed by the Montgomery Department of Public Safety.

The vehicle, possibly a Subaru, is shown in the photos with its front stuck into a wooden pole, in a photo taken by Derrick Jones. Jones indicated that the vehicle was located at the intersection of Airy and Arch Streets, which is confirmed by an incident report from the Montgomery Department of Public Safety of a vehicle in a pole at that location around 6:30 p.m.

Powdery snow is coating the Norristown streets as of now, with some parts turning a bit slushy. According to the National Weather Service at 7:15 p.m., the area could possibly receive between three to seven inches tonight.

We had no snow on Wednesday. How is this possible: "There is at least one vehicular incident in Norristown on Wednesday, in the midst of snowy streets, with one vehicle appearing to have crashed into a pole..."

Hello, Rich Rogers - this article was posted on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, a day on which there was snow, and which people recognized as having snow. I have changed the day to "Thursday," being that "Wednesday" was an accident.
