UPDATE: More Photos of Hurricane Sandy's Impact on Our Area

Dozens of calls kept police, fire and municipal personal running all over our area, mostly dealing with flooding, downed trees and wires and power outages.

While we haven't seen the disaster-level troubles in our area that some more coastal regions are dealing with, emergency services have been running from call to call all day, handling trees falling into houses, blocking roadways and knocking down power lines, fire alarms going off and power outages all over the region.

Check out some of the pictures of emergency calls we caught site of in Norristown, East and West Norriton and the surrounding area the last few days. Keep track of how clean up efforts are going in your neighborhood with Norristown Patch readers on our Facebook page.
