Norristown Farm Park to Host Lymphomathon this Saturday
The 2012 Philadelphia Lymphomathon is expected to raise more than last year's fundraising efforts of $45,000.
According to CBS 3, the 2012 Philadelphia Lymphomathon, which benefits the Lymphoma Research Foundation, is slated for this Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Norristown Farm Park. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and the walk kicks off at 10:30 a.m.
The non-competitive 5k annual walk gives survivors, family and friends a chance to walk together and raise money for the Lymphoma Research Foundation's research and programs.
"It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning to raise money for a great cause and support and be with folks you care a lot about and want to see either stay healthy, or survive a difficult disease,” " Lymphoma Research Foundation Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter President Michael Yudell told CBS.
