Norristown's International Festival Takes Over Marshal Street This Saturday!

The Greater Norristown Hispanic Business Association is hosting the day of music, dance, food and more as part of Norristown's Bicentennial Celebration.

Tomorrow, West Marshall Street between Astor Street and Haws Avenue will be alive with music, dance, multicultural foods and more during the Greater Norristown Hispanic Business Association’s (GNHBA) inaugural International Festival from noon to 6 p.m.

“We have very nice diversity here in Norristown, and this festival, which we intend to celebrate annually, is an opportunity to share our cultures, traditions and cuisines,” said Beatrice Nunez, president of the Greater Norristown Hispanic Business Association, in a release about the festival.

The festival will feature a variety of international cuisines, entertainment, live music and a professional dance group – Folklorico Yaretzi. Philadelphia singer, songwriter, drummer and pianist Keef Keyz and Anthrax Musical are among the other live music performers. Games for adults, children’s activities and a moon bounce are also planned.
