PA American Water Repairing Broken Valve at E. Marshall St. and New Hope St.

Crews are working quickly in the cold and estimate a fix in four to six hours, according to the water company.

A broken water valve around the intersection of East Marshall St. and New Hope St. in Norristown is being repaired by crews from Pennsylvania American Water, who estimate that it will be fixed in about four to six hours (1 a.m. to 3 a.m.).

According to Terry Maenza, Director of Communications & External Affairs of Pennsylvania American Water, the water service for about 25 customers will be disturbed during repairs.

“Crews are working as quickly as possible while dealing with extremely cold temps,” wrote Maenza in an email to Patch.
