Route 202 Lane Closures Scheduled

Lane closures are scheduled for U.S. Route 202 in King of Prussia.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

King of Prussia Associates will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction on northbound and southbound U.S. Route 202 at Allendale Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, from 9 p.m. Friday (May 30) to 6 p.m. Saturday (May 31) for utility installation and concrete patching, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area as backups will occur.

King of Prussia Associates will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 680 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available by calling 5-1-1, and regional Twitter alerts are available on the 511PA website.
