Santa Claus Visits Our Area Today

If you haven't had a chance to visit Santa Claus at one of local malls yet this season, you're in luck – he'll be making a few stops in our area today.

Jefferson Fire Company in West Norriton will be escorting the big guy through the streets of West Norriton tomorrow in style. No one's sure of the exact route, but he should hit town around noon today, Sunday, Dec. 16. Just listen for the sirens from Santa's fire truck escort.

Before he visits West Norriton, the big man will be having breakfast at the Swedesburg Volunteer Fire Company at 310 Jefferson Street in Swedesburg from 8 a.m. to noon.

The firefighters will be cooking up a breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, orange juice and coffee. The cost is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 10 and free for children 5 and under. Make sure the kids bring their Christmas list to show Santa.

Santa will be back in our area next week again when he visits East Norriton next Saturday, Dec. 22, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the company of another fire company escort.
