UPDATE: Small Dog Found in Norristown Earlier on Sunday is Reunited With Owner

The dog, who could be a Shih Tzu mix, was friendly and was taken to a shelter.

A small dog found earlier on Sunday by a good Samaritan in Norristown has been reunited with its owner after the dog was brought to a shelter. 

The small, white dog with grey ears that looked like a Shih Tzu mix was found earlier Sunday.

The dog was “very friendly,” and it appeared as if the dog had been cared for, according to the person who found it.

The dog was brought to the Conshohocken branch of the Montgomery County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at 19 East Ridge Pike in Conshohocken. The person who found the dog then contacted Patch.com in hopes that the owner would read about the dog and rescue it.
