If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to shape up, you’re in luck: the Philadelphia metro area is one of the best places to live if you’re trying to lose weight, real estate blog Trulia reports.
Trulia looked at five categories in deciding whether or not an area was conducive to losing weight: Availability of weight-loss centers; availability of fresh, “real” food; proximity to gyms; percentage of people who commute on foot or by bike; and outdoor athletic opportunities.
Of course, maybe this is a good area for losing weight because we have so much weight to lose, as Philadelphia Magazine posts. Either way, apparently we have all the tools we need to get healthy right at our fingertips.
