Twilight Author Stephanie Meyer Visits Philly

The author of the blockbuster tween fantasy series will be in Philadelphia tonight and tomorrow for a book signing and fan screening of a movie based on her other series, 'The Host.'

Whether you're Team Jacob or Team Edward, odds are if you're into the whole vampire/human/werewolf love triangle you're a big fan of Stephanie Meyer, the creator of the Twilight series of tween fantasy books.

Philly-area Twi-hards have a special treat this week as Meyer will be visiting the area to promote a new movie, The Host, based on another series the author penned.

Tonight she'll be at the Ritz 5 at 214 Walnut Street in Philadelphia for a special fan screening of the flick at 7:30 p.m. Good luck getting a ticket, but plenty of fans will be gathered at the theater at around 6 p.m. just to get a glimpse of the author and two of the stars of the new film, Max Irons and Jake Abel. There's a Q&A segment with the trio after the film.
