These are the dates that students and parents need to know for the upcoming school year. The first day of school is Sept. 3.

Aug. 26-29: teacher professional development

Aug. 29: student orientation for grades K, 5, and 9
Sept. 2: Labor Day
Sept. 3: first student day
Sept. 5: Rosh Hashanah
Nov. 5: Election Day (no school)
Nov. 12: early dismissal for elementary, middle, and high schools
Nov. 26: report card evening conferences
Nov. 27: report card conferences (no school for students)
Nov. 28-29: Thanksgiving Break (no school)
Dec. 23-31: Winter Recess (no school)
Jan. 1: New Year’s Day (no school)
Jan. 20: Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service
Jan. 28: early dismissal at high school, only
Feb. 14: staff professional development (no school for students)
Feb. 17: Presidents’ Day
April 1: early dismissal for elementary, middle, and high school
April 10: report card evening conferences
April 11: report Card Conferences -No School for Students
April 14-21: Spring Recess
May 20: staff professional development (no school for students)
May 26: Memorial Day (no school)
June 3: early dismissal for elementary, middle, and high school
June 16: Last Student Day
June 17: Last Staff Day
If there are weather-related closures, the following days will used as make-up days:
Day 1: April 21
Day 2: June 17
Day 3: June 18
