Audubon Genuardi's: 'We’re Here and We’re Not Going Anywhere'

While other area Genuardi's grocery stores have closed or changed hands, the Audubon Village Shopping Center store plans on sticking around for the long haul.

According to The Times Herald, the last remaining Genuardi's location in our area is planning on sticking around.

The Audubon Village Shopping Center Genuardi's, at 2850 Audubon Village Drive in Eagleville, is still part of the Safeway company while other area locations were closed or sold to the Weis and Giant supermarket chains.

"We’re here and we’re not going anywhere," Store Manager Victor C. Jones told the Herald. "We’d like people in the Norristown area to know we’re here and we’re only five miles away. So many people don’t realize there is still a Genuardi’s market and we’re just around the corner."
