New Businesses Opening in the Norristown Area

Several new businesses are scheduled to open soon in our area.

As economic recovery slowly but surely makes headway in the business sector, evidence of it is all around our area with several new businesses coming to the area.

The Times Herald recently reported on the new eatery moving in across the street from the . The Court Order Grille will be opening Monday morning in the corner spot previously home to Planet Hoagie at Swede and East Airy streets. Apparently a sign in the window lists the businesses hours of operation as Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Over in East Norriton, a vacant spot at 2953 Swede Road in Swede Square (right next to the L.A. Fitness) will be home to a Menchies, a frozen yogurt franchise with locations across the country. What's so special about Menchies? Apparently you can mix up as many flavors and toppings as you want and pay by weight. You can have as much or as little of everything you want. No word on the opening date, but the sign in the window says soon.
