Norristown Friendly's Restaurant Celebrating New Look and Menu With Community Oct. 19

The restaurant invites the public to celebrate.

The Norristown Friendly’s, which originally opened to the public in 1984, is celebrating its refurbished appearance and revamped menu with a celebration on the morning of Saturday, Oct. 19 that will feature free sundae cups for the public, according to a media release. 

Attending will be Norristown councilwoman Linda Christian, franchise owners Kenneth Zekavat and Khaled Kezbari, as well as Friendly’s CEO John Maguire.

The restaurant is located at 150 West Germantown Pike. From 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. there will be free face-painting and balloon objects for children. Free sundae cups will be doled out from 10:30 a.m. until they are gone. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. John Maguire, Linda Christian and Kenneth Zekavat and Khaled Kezbari will give guests the first scoop of ice cream.

Friendly’s will give $1 from each sundae sold to the Paul V. Fly Elementary School in East Norriton.
