Norristown native Latonya Hill is following her passion with her old fashioned ice cream parlor, LaLa's Sweets n' Treats.

The Delaware County News Network recently highlighted Norristown native Latonya Hill's old fashioned ice cream parlor, LaLa's Sweets n' Treats, located in Upper Darby.

The Norristown High grad (Clas of 2002) has reportedly been in the food service bid since she was 14, graduated from the Lansdale School of Business with an Associate Degree in Business Administration and has two business certifications from Montgomery County Community College. She opened LaLa's in may of last year.

"LaLa's Sweets n' Treats is a dream that I had since a young girl," Hill told the DCNN. "I have always wanted to be my own boss. At nine years -old, my cousin and I started a Lemonade and Ice Tea stand in front of my house."
