Via Venetos. My family has been going there for the last 20+ years. Even after we move out of the Norristown area!

Charlies, without a doubt. Whether I believe they invented it or not, I love the Red Top pie. Their sauce is without equal and the thin cornbread crust is awesome.

Via Veneto's is THE BEST and always will be. When my mother was in the hospital and I would come to get food for her, because she was such a well known customer and used to work with Gino's daughter Gina, they would NEVER let me pay...NEVER !! They are always nice, treat everyone the same and are really a great representation of what Norristown pizza shops should be. Charlie's pizza is the worst and the owners are prejudiced. My daughter and I experienced this first hand and I have no problem telling anyone whoever mentions thier name.

Anyone ever have Lou's in Norristown. They make a great Pizza.

My vote is for Via Veneto AND Charlies!! Charlies makes a great red top (only second to Penney's Pizza in Limereick) and Via Veneto does not. Via Veneto makes the best Sicilian/Tomato pie anywhere. So, 2 different pizzarias and two different kinds of pizza. Kinda like apples and oranges. But they both make a great Neopolitan. When it comes to that, I think Via Veneto may have the edge.
