Mondelez Global announced a nationwide recall of their belVita Breakfast Biscuits in Apple Cinnamon and Chocolate varieties for the possibility of fragments of flexible metal mesh in the product from a faulty screen at their facility.

Pet Treats

Kasel Associates Industries announced it is recalling all pet treats manufactured between April 20 and Sept. 19, 2012 due to potential Salmonella contamination.

Kasel pet products were sold at Target, Petco, Sam's Club, Costco, among other retailers and have a two-year shelf life.

Heartland Brands Granola Cereal

Heartland Brands is recalling two varieties of granola cereals in the US due to the possible presence of fragments of flexible metal mesh from the Dakota Specialty Milling.

The Heartland Harvest Spice Granola Cereal and the Heartland Fruit and Hut Harvest Granola Cereals are included in this recall.

Goldcoast Salads

GoldCoast Salads is recalling Blue Crab Spread, Maine Lobster Spread, Shrimp Spread, and Smoked Salmon Spread, all which may be contaminated with listeria.

According to the Food and Drug Administration recall, "The products in question were produced 12/17/12, 12/19/12, 12/26/12, 1/31/13, and 1/25/13 respectively and distributed to stores in the North East and South East United States."
