This week's recalls

Whole Pinto Beans

La Preferida, Inc. is recalling 56,808 cans of their branded Whole Pinto beans in the 29 oz. size can. According to the Food and Drug Administration recall, " 420 cans may not have been fully processed, which could result in product contamination by spoilage organisms or by pathogens, which could lead to illness if consumed."

Dry Pet Food

Natura Pet is recalling dry pet food because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, which can affect the animals eating the food and humans handling the food.

The food was sold at veterinary clinics, online and at select pet specialty retailers between Dec. 18, 2012 and March 15, 2013.

Girls Boots

Cha Cha and Cha Cha 2 girls' boots are being recalled for a potential fall hazard. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall alert, the zipper pulls on the boots can become entangled, posing a fall hazard to the wearer.

The boots were sold at Bloomingdales, Belk Stores, TJ Maxx and Zappos from September 2011 through February 2013.

Children's Activity Walker

Toys R Us is recalling the Imaginarium Activity Walker due to a checking hazard. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall, the small bolt and spacer that attaches each front wheel to the walker can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.
