Love Stories: Kathleen Loves Cliff

Patch asked our readers for love stories on Valentine's Day and Kathleen wrote to tell us about her best friend – her husband of 42 years, Cliff.

"I know we are OLD, but we are still best buddies and Valentines," wrote Kathleen Levering.

This year, Kathleen and her husband, Cliff, celebrated their 42nd Valentine's Day together as a married couple with two sons and four grandkids.

"We still make each other smile and laugh everyday," wrote Kathleen. "We still take care of each other everyday and worry about each other everyday!"

Kathleen says the pair start every morning together with a smile.

"This sweet and loving man makes it easier for me to face my day because I know that at the end of the day, I know we get to be together," she wrote.
