Monday Night Lane Closures Scheduled for Turnpike

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound on the PA Turnpike (I-276), between Norristown and Ft. Washington interchanges, to be prepared for a double-lane traffic pattern to be in effect tonight.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling eastbound on the PA Turnpike (I-276), between the Norristown (Exit #333) and Ft. Washington (Exit #339) Interchanges, to be prepared for a double-lane traffic pattern to be in effect tonight, Monday (May 13) starting at 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. tomorrow morning.

Construction crews will establish a double-lane pattern eastbound, closing the right lane at 8 p.m. and the center lane at 10 p.m. during bridge deck patching operations between milepost 334.5 – 338.5 until the patterns are lifted by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Motorists should stay alert for slow moving or stopped traffic approaching the Norristown interchange and obey the posted 40 mph speed restrictions through the work zone until the patterns are lifted. 

All work is weather permitting and the contractors schedule is subject to change.
