According to PennDOT, drainage improvements are scheduled on the eastbound side, near Conshohocken.

A $1.2 million drainage-improvement project on the Schuylkill Expressway is expected to mean occasional daytime lane closures for the next seven months, according to a bulletin from PennDOT.

The agency reports that crews from J.D Eckman, Inc., will be working daily starting Monday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the highway's eastbound side near Conshohocken. The projected end date for the project is April 17, 2013.
