Norristown: Meet the Candidates
The public can gather to learn more about the candidates for the municipal council and the school board.
A meet-the-candidate forum will take place at The Centre Theater in Norristown on Oct. 24 where the public can ask questions to the five candidates running for two at-large positions for the Norristown municipal council and the six candidates running for four positions for the Norristown Area School District school board, according to two local civic groups.
The Norristown Nudge and the Norristown Men of Excellence sponsor the event. The forum, which will take place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. will begin with the candidates briefly introducing themselves, and then will segway into questions from the audience.
The theater is donating its space and the event will be moderated by a member of the Philadelphia League of Women Voters.
