Native American Day

Join us for our annual Native American Day.  Lee Hallman, president of the Indian Artifact Collectors Association of the Northeast, will display many stone artifacts.  Have you ever found a sharply pointed stone that you thought might be an arrowhead?  Find out if you have the real thing at our event.  Bring artifacts for free appraisal (by Lee).  Other presenters will have displays of Lenape culture, including jewelry (for sale).  There will be demonstrations of flintknapping (the ancient art of toolmaking) and Native American dancing.  Children will be entertained with crafts and games.  Bring the whole family!  Ages: all; free event; pre--registration is not required; information (610-270-0215).  The event is held at the picnic pavilions.  Raindate: Sunday, October 6th
