A big part of the Holiday
season is the Nutcracker! Every year the ACPPA Community Art Center prepares
and performs the Norristown Nutcracker. Being a center that provides diverse
art classes and programs, our performance of the Norristown Nutcracker is very
unique.
We combine the traditional
ballet dances with dances from our hip hop and jazz classes and we have our
guitar and piano students play live music for the performances. All of our
students in every class have an opportunity to contribute to our Norristown
Nutcracker! Last year, we even had a performance that included parent
volunteers. The Norristown Nutcracker is a family event that has become a
tradition of family participation in preparation as well as performance!
This year we are having the
performance on two days so join us on Friday, December 20th and
Saturday, December 21st. Each year, this performance sells out
almost immediately after it’s posted! Don’t wait too long to order your tickets.
Group ticket sales close December 13th; for groups of 15 or more
people, tickets are $4 per person. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $6
per person.
