Reducing Your Risk of Breast Cancer Seminar

When it comes to questions about breast cancer and early detection, Mercy Suburban Hospital has the answers women are looking for. Mercy Cancer Center at Mercy Suburban Hospital will host a free Oct. 2 seminar where our experts answer your questions about breast cancer screenings and treatment options. The community forum will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Mercy Cancer Center Conference Room, located at 2701 DeKalb Pike in East Norriton. Check-in for the event begins at 4:30 p.m.

Many women have questions about their risk of breast cancer, and the Reducing Your Risk of Breast Cancer seminar, led by our own breast surgeon Kristine Widders, MD, and Breast Care Nurse Navigator Polly Sacco Ezzell, BSN, RN, OCN, will cover such topics as early detection, genetics and controllable risk factors. This panel discussion is designed to answer many of the pressing questions that women have about their breast health. The medical professionals will also answer questions the community may have.

Light refreshments will be served. Registration required. To reserve your seat, call 1.877.GO MERCY (1.877.466.3729).
