STEAM: 2014 Summer ARTS Intensive

The ACPPA Community Art Center has opened registration for this year's Summer ARTS Intensive! 

When: June 23-27 Pre Camp | 9a-3pm; Aug 4-8 Post Camp II | 9a-3pm; Jun 30-Jul 25 Half day and Full day Four Week Intensive | 9am - noon (half day) 9am - 3pm (full day)

Where: The ACPPA Community Art Center

What: This summer, the ACPPA Community Art Center is having a STEAM focused summer intensive! We will be combining the subjects in STEM and the arts to create some really great activities for our students this summer! Many of you may know of the STEM programming in schools where focus i put on science, technology, engineering and mathematics. But recently, there has been a movement that seeks to add the arts to STEM called STEAM. STEAM is all about putting focus on subjects that are known to foster important skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving, within students.
