Malls Holding Special Events So Special Children Can See Santa

Simon Malls hopes to bring comfort and joy to children with special needs.

Written by Alison Smith

The King of Prussia Mall, Montgomery Mall and Franklin Mills Mall on Sunday, Dec. 8, will welcome Caring Santa, a private event for special-needs children and their families, held before the malls open.

Caring Santa is music-free and features dim lighting and scheduled appointments so that children who are sensitive to stimulation and have difficulty waiting in line will be able to see Santa in an environment comfortable for them.
